What we collect
Latch & Cipher has no accounts, comments or forms, sets no cookies of its own and runs no analytics or advertising trackers. We collect no personal information from visiting the site, and we don't sell or share personal information.
Our hosting provider
The site is served by Cloudflare. To deliver pages and protect the site from attacks, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. Cloudflare operates globally, so this data may be processed outside your country. It may also set a strictly necessary security cookie for this purpose. We rely on our legitimate interest in running and securing the site. See Cloudflare's privacy policy for how it handles that data.
Links to other sites and affiliate cookies
When you follow a link to another site, that site's privacy policy applies. Some of our links are affiliate links. If you follow one, the seller or affiliate program (for example, Amazon) may set cookies or use similar technology in your browser to record that you came from Latch & Cipher, so a purchase can be credited to us. We don't receive your personal details from them, only aggregate reports of sales.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and we don't share them. We keep messages only as long as needed to handle your request, typically no more than two years.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, UK or California), you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted. The only information we could hold is an email you sent us. Write to the address below and we'll respond within 30 days.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. See also our Terms of use. Questions: hello@latchandcipher.com.
